And melee beg for enhance in their group. Only issue is you have no threat drop, unless you reincarn, and chain windfurying on pull = maybe dead. Personally Im not a fan of melee in classic, but enhance is still fun. After playing melee and having windfury it sucks to go without it, as enhance you always have your windfury. Also an easy raid spot, purely because you're a shaman.
Id say it's slightly more expensive since dragonmaw is so good, but there are other alternatives if you're broke. That's huge for castersĮnhance is similar. 4% hit, 3% crit, 120 spellpower from totem (with 2 set) and mp5. Other caster DPS pray that they can be in your group, and they will change their gearing specifically on whether they have totem of wrath so they dont go over hitcap, whereas you hitcap with 38 hit rating (if Draenai), and never really need to rely on being in a specific group, since the group is made around you (in raids at least). In 5 man dungeons you are huge just for this. Gearing elemental isnt too bad either, since mail spellpower stuff is basically yours, netherstrike is good for a long time. With my raid gear and buffs in raid, i have like 43% crit+, even more with boomie. + the clearcasting sound gets spammed when you crit so you get that nice feedback. They are unplayed (Especially on alliance side since you cant boost Draenai to 58 AND horde have way more shaman leftover from classic anyway)Įlemental does pump damage, sure you're going to be lower than other caster DPS generally, but your damage is pretty close to mage.
